Problemas com o GPS

O GPS do TyTN "morreu" ... Parece que não sou o único e a solução é um hard reset (cf este e outros artigos) ... A ver se descubro outra solução ...

Encontrei isto, que pode bem ter sido o que me aconteceu:

Be cautious when using the "External GPS" settings.

There is a reported bug that is caused by changing some of these settings that makes GPS unusable until a hard reset is performed.

So if you have continual problems and GPS just will not work in open space and after you have tried different ports - then maybe you have changed a setting using "External GPS" and there may be no way to get it working without a hard reset. This was I think first reported on Modaco.

Vou instalar o GPS Test como último teste antes do hard reset ... Nada a fazer, não encontra a "GPS unit". Vamos ao hard reset.

Hard reset resultou :-). Já tenho GPS outra vez a funcionar - GPS Test já encontrou a GPS unit e oito satélites - :-) e já sincronizei contactos e agenda. Agora é mesmo só ver aqui no blog o que tinha instalado e voltar a reinstalar :-)
